Heart Imaging & Rhythm Tests Center

Imaging tests used to visualize the heart include coronary angiograms (x-rays of the arteries on the heart surface) and radionuclide imaging (such as SPECT and PET scans). Rhythm tests include electrocardiograms (measure heart’s electrical activity), echocardiograms (use sound waves to track heart structure and function) and cardiac catheterization.
