Sumit Verma, M.D., FACC

Biography:

Dr. Verma is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Verma earned degrees in medicine and surgery at the Government Medical College in Punjab Indiana by 1992, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in 1997. After completing a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 2000, Dr. Verma completed a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Yale University in 2002.

His experience includes trans-septal catheterization; intra-cardiac echocardiography; atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablation;pacemaker and ICD implantation; and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
